NSW LOTTERIES APPOINTMENT PROCESS
Information for prospective agents
NSW Lotteries has a network of over 1,550 agents in NSW and the ACT that service over three million lottery customers.
We continually review our network to ensure that we provide excellent levels of service to our customers.
1. NEW AGENCY ESTABLISHMENT
Do you want to establish a NSW Lotteries agency in your business?
We look to appoint agents in new locations, in both metropolitan and rural areas, where we believe additional sales of lotteries products will be generated.
If you wish to nominate a location you believe would be suitable for the establishment of a NSW Lotteries Agency, you will need to write to us with details of your business, or suggested site, and enclose a cheque for $550 (inclusive of GST), which is a non-refundable assessment fee. This should be sent to:

A member of our Agency Development team will then contact you. No application forms are necessary at this stage. Should you be appointed as a NSW Lotteries Agent, the Assessment Fee paid will be deducted from the Establishment Fee.

2. PURCHASING AN EXISTING AGENCY
Are you buying a business with an existing NSW Lotteries agency?
The NSW Lotteries' Agency is not owned by the business you may be looking to purchase. You will need to forward an application pack, attend a pre-appointment interview and, if approved, successfully complete our four-day Lotteries' Management Course.

3. RELOCATION OF AN EXISTING AGENCY
Do you wish to relocate your business?
You must recieve written approval from NSW Lotteries to relocate your business. Please complete the following form:

4. NOTIFICATION OF SALE
Are you selling your business?
You must provide NSW Lotteries with 60 days notice when intending to sell your business. Please complete the following form:
